The Heart & Stroke Walk is a fun, family-friendly event that brings our community together to get active, raise life-saving funds, and support the mission of the American Heart Association. Whether you're a seasoned walker or just looking for a great day out, join us to celebrate heart health, honor survivors, and remember loved ones affected by heart disease and stroke. Lace up your sneakers for a day filled with music, activities, and camaraderie. Through fundraising and community engagement, the Heart & Stroke Walk aims to enhance CPR training accessibility, bolster bystander preparedness, increase funding for vital research, and ultimately, save lives. Did you know one in every three deaths in the United States is related to cardiovascular disease? As we recognize American Heart Month in February, staff is encouraged to wear red on Friday, Feb. 7 to raise awareness. 

Snap a photo of you or your team wearing red and submit it to the Team RUHS blog by 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 at this link: https://www.teamruhs.org/activities/wear-red-day. Photos may be featured on the blog and social media. 

Participants are asked to adhere to the RUHS dress code policy.
