It’s almost time! RUHS Week is May 4-15.

Selfie Contest

• Take a selfie on the designated days, then come back to this page to upload your selfie for your chance to win a prize! One submission per employee per day. Note: Photos may be shared on this blog and social media. Attire must be appropriate.

  • Monday, May 4 and 11 – Wear your favorite soccer team’s jersey or colors

  • Tuesday, May 5 and 12 – Wear your favorite baseball team’s jersey or colors

  • Wednesday, May 6 and 13 – Wear your favorite football team’s jersey or colors 

  • Thursday, May 7 and 14 – Wear your favorite basketball team’s jersey colors

• What is RUHS Week?

  This is RUHS’ annual employee appreciation event, which coincides with National Hospital Week and National Nurses’ Week. Employees from the Medical Center, Community Health Centers, Correctional Health, Behavioral Health, and Public Health are all celebrated. 

• What can we expect?

• What is the RUHS Week gift and treat this year?

• Who can participate?

  ALL RUHS employees can enjoy the festivities, including TAP, per diem, volunteers, and students.  

• When and how long are employees allowed to visit RUHS Week?  

  We recommend visiting during breaks and lunch. Check back soon for more info!

• What if the employee is not working that day?  

  Employees can contact Marketing@ruhealth.org to arrange a time to pick up their RUHS Week gift. Gifts are located at the RUHS Marketing office located in the CPC Building, Suite 209. 

• What about swing shift and night shift?

  Night shift employees are encouraged to visit RUHS Week after their shift ends. If employees are unable to attend during the event hours, they can pick up their gift from the Marketing Department.

• Can we designate one person to pick up for the whole department?  

  No, with the exception of specific departments such as the Emergency Department and off-site locations. Employees are encouraged to attend in person if possible. 

• Can my department or organization participate in the event?

  Absolutely – with your supervisor’s approval! We are accepting vendors from internal RUHS departments, RIVCO organizations, and community partners.
