Workforce Engagement Survey Garners High Response Rate

An impressive 75% of employees participated in a survey intended to determine job satisfaction levels, and many departments saw most or all of their employees complete the survey.

The Workforce Engagement (WFE) Survey seeks to understand how RUHS can continue to support employees’ peer relationships, commitment to the organization and overall job satisfaction. The 75% response rate is 10 points higher than the industry standard.

Departments were split into three size categories – small, medium and large – and the following departments were the first to reach a response rate higher than 90% in their respective category.

Small: Occupational Therapy had a 100% response rate.

Medium: GI Lab heard from 100% of its staff.

Large: Detention Care Unit – 4200 had a response rate of 94%.

The Patient Experience team will contact each of the departments to set up delivery of a delicious treat as a reward for their involvement.
