RUHS Beach Party (Rustin Conference Center)
Beach vibes are coming to the RUHS - Behavioral Health Rustin Conference Center at 2085 Rustin Ave., Riverside. The RUHS Week Beach Party will kick off at 11 a.m. with vendors, food trucks, beach-themed games and prizes. Each employee will receive a special RUHS ceramic mug and a ticket for freshly-made kettle corn or agua fresca from Enzo’s Kettle Corn.

RUHS – Behavioral Health is looking for individuals who are passionate about serving others and promoting health and wellness in Riverside County to serve as volunteers for its Art of Wellness Fair at Fairmount Park in Riverside. 2024 Inland Empire Heart and Stroke Walk
RUHS staff who want to promote heart health, get some exercise and support a great cause can join the RUHS – Public Health team for the 2024 Inland Empire Heart and Stroke Walk in Jurupa Valley.
This year’s walk will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Rancho Jurupa Park, 4600 Crestmore Road. Guests can register by visiting this link or scanning the QR code on this flyer.

RUHS ED and Specialty Teams Conference
Registration is now open for the RUHS Emergency Department and Specialty Teams Conference on Friday, April 26, from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Moreno Valley Conference Center.
Open to all staff, this conference provides continuing education of emergency services to EMS, Fire, Police Hospital Staff, RNs, and Physicians.

Denim Day
The Foundation invites staff to participate in Denim Day at the Medical Center campus from 1 – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24. Denim Day takes place on the last Wednesday of April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. People are encouraged to wear denim to combat victim blaming and educate others about sexual violence during this day of awareness and action. During the same event, participants can sponsor a pinwheel to be planted in the stairwell planters adjacent to the Marion and Mary Ashley Education and Conference Center. This gesture honors children who have experienced abuse and neglect and symbolizes our commitment to their protection and well-being. More information here
2024 March of Dimes March for Babies
Join the Riverside University Health System team to make positive change for moms and babies during the 2024 March of Dimes March for Babies on Saturday, April 20, in Jurupa Valley.
The event, which raises funds and awareness around rising preterm birth and maternal death rates, will begin at 9 a.m. at Rancho Jurupa Park, 4600 Crestmore Road.

Brain Health with Dr. Wilson (BH)
The public is invited to an insightful presentation about brain health on Wednesday, March 27, from 6-8 p.m. by Dr. Benjamin Wilson, Psychologist from RUHS - Behavioral Health. A free “Difficult Airway” Workshop, presented by the Department of Anesthesiology, is scheduled for Saturday, March 16, from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the RUHS Education Building. Ash Wednesday (MC)
In recognition of Ash Wednesday on Feb. 14, Father Geoffrey will round the inpatient units and distribute ashes to patients and employees upon request between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.
Father Geoffrey will also distribute ashes to employees who wish to participate in the Meditation Room/Chapel between 12-1:30 p.m. in Room E1151 on the first floor of the Hospital across from the Pharmacy Pick-up/Consultation window.
